Robert C. Huerta

I found my passion for law and advocacy while attending the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice where I regularly competed in the Houston Urban Debate League. I continued this passion in college where I was the President of the Mock Trial Team for the University of St. Thomas. I competed in several tournaments in Texas, Missouri, and Tennessee winning multiple individual and team awards. I graduated with honors earning a BA in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy.

After earning my undergraduate degree, he attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston where I refined my advocacy skills by participating in moot court, mock trial, and criminal trial advocacy. During law school, I also volunteered at a local non-profit organization helping low-income workers fight against wage theft and unsafe workplaces.

As an attorney, I focuses on criminal defense law and is committed to giving my clients the best legal representation possible. I have honed my criminal defense skills by emersed myself furing the past years in the courtrooms of Harris County and Fort Bend County dealing and fighting with the tough prosecutors in those counties, and I further forged my criminal defense skills through the fire of felony and misdemeanor trials. I am also a member of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.

In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
